Ami believes that couples and families are resilient and can solve problems well. Sometimes life throws you a curveball that puts normal resources to the test and requires additional help. Amy works to help couples, children, individuals and families shore up their own natural strengths and overcome the various challenges life can bring.

Ami received her licensure in marriage and family counseling in 2014, and has worked with a variety of people and families since 2009.

Specialized experience includes women’s issues, recovery from trauma of sexual abuse/assault, eating disorders, and unique experiences of women in our society. Adolescents and children have been a focus of her experience.

“Families are the best environments in which individuals can thrive and flourish, and I do my best to help families create and environment to promote such growth.”

Ami grew up in Edmond and resides here with her husband and two delightful children. She enjoys happy movies, sad books, cooking, and – by extension – eating.

- Ami currently shares office space with Counseling Associates of Edmond. -
